What is Mahacriti?
Mahacriti is not just another real estate development; it’s a holistic approach to urban living that prioritizes sustainability, community engagement, and cutting-edge technology. The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) is set to introduce its new platform, Maha-Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation (MahaCRITI), at midnight on August 31. This concept seeks to redefine how we interact with our living spaces, encouraging a lifestyle that values both ecological and social aspects.
The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) will launch its new platform, Maha-Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation (MahaCRITI), at midnight on August 31. This upgraded website is designed to significantly enhance user experience, featuring real-time data analytics and personalized dashboards for homebuyers, promoters, and agents.
During the transition to MahaCRITI, there will be temporary service disruptions. From midnight on August 13 until midnight on August 31, promoters and agents will be unable to submit new applications online. Homebuyers will also need to file complaints manually from August 20 to August 31, as online complaint registration will not be available during this time. However, online hearings for existing complaints will continue without interruption.
MahaRERA requests cooperation from all stakeholders during this transition. The current website will be offline during the migration process, and only applications completed before August 13 will be processed.
The new MahaCRITI platform will feature an integrated system with personalized dashboards, enhanced data analytics, and improved functionalities. This update comes as the existing system, which is over seven years old, no longer meets the evolving needs of its users. The revamped platform will enable better management of regulatory functions and complaints, incorporating features like mobile applications and AI-driven chatbots for real-time assistance.
You will never fake the feeling of being in such a place. The live minimalism base on the natural materials and alive unprocessed textures — true, authentic, close to nature.

Shri Ajoy Mehta, Chairman of MahaRERA, stressed the importance of the new system, stating, “A public sector organization’s website must deliver clear and reliable information promptly. With a significant increase in interactions on MahaRERA’s website, there is a pressing need to enhance its functionalities.” He noted that daily visits have risen from about 5,000 a few months ago to over 34,000, with hourly visits jumping from 200 to 1,400. The new MahaCRITI platform is built to accommodate this increased traffic and provide a more efficient, user-friendly experience. It will include various modules to improve interactions among developers, agents, and MahaRERA, fostering greater transparency and accountability in the real estate sector.
The new platform will be fully operational starting at midnight on August 31. Stakeholders are encouraged to visit MahaRERA’s current website for updates until the new system goes live. This upgrade represents a crucial advancement in MahaRERA’s online services, ensuring it meets the current and future needs of all users.
